The Nao Victoria Museum is where replicas of important boat of the Magellan’s history, such as the Nao Victoria, James Caird and the Goleta Ancud can be found.

It is located at the shore of the Strait 7.5 km north of Punta Arenas. It has been open to the public since the 1st of October 2011. This is a private museum, receiving his manager the Bicentennial Medal by the President of Chile for his work in promoting national identity, occurring this during the celebrations of the Bicentennial Chilean Independence. The City hall of Punta Arenas has declared this museum as one of the most important tourism location of the city.

The main collection of the museum, are the real size replicas of this historic vessels, displayed along the Strait of Magellan, it also keeps replica weapons and old navigation tools, copies of historical documents and books related to the ancient vessels, apart from an open air carpentry workshop by the riverside.
